In this festival best plays staged in Delhi are selected by a Expert Committee and the same staged in this festival.
A play writing competition is is held by inviting entries from all over India. The selected best plays are awarded and staged during Mohan Rakesh Natya Samaroh.
In this festival solo / duet plays are staged by the Delhi based theatre directors / artists.
Delhi based young directors are invited through the advertisement in newspapers. The selected directors are invited to stage their plays.
In order to bring the talents of children workshops in the field of music, dance, drama and fine arts are organised during the summer vacations in various schools of Delhi for the age group of 8-16 years. The drama productions prepared by children are staged in auditorium.
This festival was introduced to give exposure to young college student Approximately 45 colleges of Delhi participate in this theatre festival.
